Baking for the Apocalypse tells a fictitious narrative story of narcissistic extreme through the lens of domestic and narcotic abuse using assimilation’s exposing the six archetypes of egotistic narcissism that seep into neighborhoods, and bedroom communities surrounding the metropolis haven capital city of Edmonton, Alberta. The torn avenues of discussion that take place upon a woman’s torn conflict when approached with conversations surrounding her ongoing marital turmoil.
C.A. Granger is a master’s degree graduate and local to the City of Edmonton, that with great mentorship propelled her interests in philanthropy during University when it was suggested that she develop a profound storyline of interest by her peers to explore a new genre of creative writing technique. This gave way to developing and writing a book that would provide a foundation and avenue to support dedicated fundraising initiatives, awareness and commitments to support community charitable organizations.
‘Baking for the Apocalypse’ provides a unique perspective experience exploring a storyline of narcissism interwoven with narcotics and domestic abuse that builds a foundation backing a larger problematic structure in society. The issues discussed are structured in a manner that allows the reader to develop their own understanding of archetypes and challenges of extremism that takes on a life of its own through systemic situations of domestic demons demonstrating the dangers of each character’s selfish priorities and interest driven prerogatives. Each character has a preferred nuance of expectations and understanding of how society should prioritize their perspective of power, status and perplexing viewpoint of unique social standpoints taken.
